Kingstown, St. Vincent and the Grenadines | Atlanta, GA - December 11, 2009

Trinity School of Medicine announces the addition of seven hospitals and medical facilities—serving the Atlanta, Georgia area—that will be host to Trinity’s clinical clerkships in 2010. Students in the inaugural class will transition from St. Vincent and the Grenadines to the U.S. where they will spend terms six through ten in a series of required and elective clinical rotations.
While the introduction to clinical experience at Trinity begins in the first term with weekly hospital-based patient care experiences, the seventy-five weeks of clinical clerkships provide students with greater exposure to medical procedures, techniques and instrumentation, as well as preparation for Step 2 of the United States Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE).
As the Trinity student population continues to grow, arrangements are being made for supplemental clinical rotations in additional regions.
Trinity School of Medicine was founded in 2007 in response to the developing shortage of physicians in the United States and Canada. Trinity offers a new path to opportunity for prospective physicians who thrive in an environment of small classes, frequent and personal attention from faculty, and a curriculum that integrates clinical experience into the first five terms. Trinity School of Medicine’s curriculum, education, and standards for student success are based on the US model of medical education. Students at Trinity are eligible to sit for Step 1 and Step 2 of the United States Medical Licensure Examination and are eligible for certification to participate in the National Residency Match Program. Trinity School of Medicine is located in St. Vincent and the Grenadines in the Eastern Caribbean with U.S. headquarters in Alpharetta, GA.
