Curious about the value of an education at Caribbean Medical Schools?
As a student at Trinity School of Medicine, you are eligible to register for and complete the United States Medical Licensing Examinations (USMLE Step1, Step 2 & Step 3), the standard tests required of all U.S. medical students.
You receive the same high-quality training as students at U.S. and Canadian medical schools, but at a lower cost, with smaller class sizes and in a location that offers a higher quality of living.
Students at Trinity School of Medicine enjoy a number of advantages over U.S. and Canadian medical schools:

Trinity School of Medicine is an international medical school offering the Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree whose curriculum follows the U.S. medical education model  Located in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Trinity is helping to address the profound shortage of medical doctors by creating more opportunities for students to obtain a quality medical education.
In the United States alone, more than 42,000 students apply for just 18,000 available med school seats each year. To respond to this demand, a group of concerned educational and business leaders joined together to establish a unique medical training institution. The result of their efforts is Trinity School of Medicine.

Through our partnership with Milton Cato Memorial, a 220-bed hospital located in downtown Kingston, St. Vincent, clinical experiences are integrated into each of the first five terms and include weekly hospital-based patient care experiences for students beginning in the first term. This part of the curriculum is taught by community physicians who have faculty appointments at Trinity School of Medicine and over 30 years of experience working with and training medical students in clinical medicine. The University of the West Indies also has approved the Hospital for full internships, clerkships in medicine, surgery, pediatrics, obstetrics/gynecology, and electives in other qualifying disciplines.

St. Vincent and the Grenadines lies between Saint Lucia and Grenada in the Windward Islands in the Caribbean Sea. The islands of St. Vincent and the Grenadines include the main island of St. Vincent and the northern two-thirds of the Grenadines. St. Vincent and the Grenadines is a parliamentary democracy within the British Commonwealth and the official language is English. St. Vincent offers a number of natural escapes whether you're interested in hiking to the top of La Soufriere volcano, touring the oldest botanical garden in the Western hemisphere or simply relaxing on an uncrowded beach.
